Jerrod and Natalee Clement founded the company, originally referred to as Clement Construction Company, in 2005 when they moved from Northern Michigan to the Waterford area.  At the time they had only $800 in their pockets, full-time jobs, and a whole lot of ambition.  After just one year, through hard work and a little bit of luck, they were able to steadily grow and both were working full-time in the business. Now Clement Companies is a successful corporation with multiple projects and employees.

 

The business started with small home remodeling and repair projects.  Jerrod focused on the construction and business development while Natalee began her tenure as the Director of Operations as well as handling all of the finances and marketing.

 

Their focus has changed as they have grown from remodeling to construction management and general contracting of commercial projects.  In addition, the Clement Companies’ team are experts in large loss reconstruction and real estate development.

 

Clement Companies have formed partnerships with many clients, vendors, and suppliers as the company has grown.  Their relationships were born from their reputation as quality builders and their integrity as business owners.  Jerrod and Natalee were recognized in January of 2016 with the Entrepreneur of the Year Award by the Waterford Area Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, their company was named a finalist in the 2016 Michigan 50 Companies to Watch awards.

 

Jerrod and Natalee take great pride in running a successful, honest company and recognize that each and every team member, from the office to the field crew, contribute to making the company what it is today.  They greatly appreciate their employees who have become like family and strive to provide a quality work environment in which they too can prosper.

 

The Clement Companies team believes that it is imperative to give back to their community.  As a company, they have volunteered labor hours and equipment for Christmas in Action for several years, walked in the Grace Center of Hope’s Walk-A-Thon to benefit homeless children for two years, donated time and materials to a local church for remodeling projects, and have completed small home repairs or modifications for local veterans at no cost to them.  In addition, Jerrod and Natalee serve at their church’s recovery service where the focus is to help those struggling with addiction and currently they volunteer as a foster family for Boxer Haven Rescue.

 

While Jerrod and Natalee are proud of all they have achieved within the company, their greatest accomplishment came in 2018 when they celebrated the birth of their son Thomas.
